Activities to enhance intercultural competence development for educators
An experiment in curriculum building based on the theoretical foundations of Jerome S. Bruner Man: A Course of Study (1965). Its relevance to promoting cultural competence cannot be overestimated. Following the lives of the Netsilik Eskimo, the Kalahari Bushmen the documentaries and supplementary materials are build to guide the learner to discover the similarities and the differences between these alien cultures to his or her own, to draw inferences and learn to understand how the social context and the environment shape a culture.
